Courage in the Midst of Cruelty, Chaos, and Fear – Rev. Phillip Lund
Fear is not a byproduct of authoritarianism—it’s the point. Fortunately, our faith is built not on fear, but on hope and courage. Join us as we look at how authoritarian regimes use fear to divide us, and how we can gather the courage to resist.
Children’s Activity: Activity: Youngsters are invited to enjoy the Bright Bulb Kidz Korner or the nursery with Ms. Shumey.

Honoring Indigenous People's Day
Despite enduring centuries of attempted cultural annihilation, indigenous people have worked hard to survive and keep their identity. First Nations people are active and powerful leaders in all aspects of our society. We will learn about some of them and how they are impacting today’s challenging times.
Children’s Program (CRE): Courage. We will begin by thinking and talking about the courage it takes to be ourselves, guided by Mary Ness. Younger children can enjoy the nursery with Ms. Shumey.

Courage is Contagious – Rev. Phillip Lund
It’s been said that “fear breeds in isolation; community is the antidote.” Nowhere is this more true than in a religious community. This morning we’ll explore the ways being present for one another can lift all our spirits and make us all braver.

In the midst of challenges facing our world, can the UN offer hope for the future?
